The Brit Kit Downes is an outstandingly creative pianist and an asset to the contemporary jazz scene. His specialty is the organ, which will take center stage in this project: Together with the Dutch saxophonist Ben van Gelder, Kit Downes will construct an orchestral version of his music for the Jazz Festival.

Butcher Brown are not actually butchers, but a band from Virginia. They combine Jazz with Hip Hop and groove hard! Active since 2013, they are releasing their tenth album this year. They increasingly pursue danceable sounds on this record and write tracks that you could also hear in a club - only the beats are not samples, but all live and handmade!
