Since he appeared on the scene at the age of 18, he has been one of the most sought-after drummers of this country. Albert Mangelsdorff, Gregory Porter, Pat Metheny, Klaus Doldinger or the Fantastischen Vier: Wolfgang Haffner was the first choice for everyone when it came to finding the right groove. In the meantime, the two-time ECHO award winner has also matured into a successful band leader with his own profile.

The history of jazz is that of its rhythm: what was new in the course of its development was first rhythmically new. It goes without saying that with Wolfgang Haffner and Gregory Hutchinson two recognized "master drummers" belong in this program. Third in the league is the Swedish singer Viktoria Tolstoy.
